Why Go Vertical?
Traditional horizontal server placement wastes energy through inefficient airflow. Vertical racking changes the physics in your favor.
Physics Working For You
Hot air rises — always. SERRAC racks align server orientation with this basic principle, eliminating the chaotic circulation patterns that create hotspots in traditional horizontal setups.
Every Server Gets Fresh Air
Cool air enters from below and exits cleanly from above in a straight, unobstructed path. No server is starved of cooling — from the bottom of the rack to the top.
Savings That Compound
Less heat means less cooling infrastructure. SERRAC customers see measurable reductions in energy consumption — savings that add up month after month, across every rack in the facility.
Built for the Modern Data Center
The SERRAC vertical racking system combines years of structural racking expertise with a deep understanding of data center thermodynamics. The result is a rack that doesn't just hold your servers — it actively improves their environment.
Our systems can also be integrated with mezzanine floors, making full use of vertical space throughout the facility and enabling multi-level server deployments within a single structure.
- Compatible with standard server form factors
- Combinable with mezzanine floors for multi-level deployments
- Durable, high-quality construction
- Scalable for projects of any size
- Designed and built in the Netherlands
From Pallet Racking
to Data Centers
Founded in 2020 in Zutphen, Netherlands, SERRAC was born out of a simple observation: data centers were still organizing servers the same way warehouses stack boxes — horizontally and inefficiently.
Our team brings decades of experience from traditional pallet racking, giving us a unique structural and engineering perspective. We applied that expertise to a field that desperately needed it, creating a racking solution that works with physics rather than against it.
Today we partner with data centers of all sizes, from single-rack deployments to large-scale rollouts across the Netherlands and beyond.
